 There has been talk of an updated look for the 2010 Dodge Charger. Designer Michael Leonhard has come up with these renderings of what this upcoming Dodge Charger could possibly look like. I could totally see one of these Chargers all dressed up like the General Lee.

Warner Brothers is set to release a 2 film collection of the Dukes of Hazzard movie (2005) and the Dukes of Hazzard - The Beginning on May 5, 2009.

Film Synopsis:

Good times with the good ol boys! The General Lee is tanked up and the laughs are ready to roll in (Side A) The Dukes of Hazzard, the high-octane movie inspired by the TV series. Duke cousins Luke and Bo (Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott) and short-shortin' Daisy (Jessica Simpson) are out to stop Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds) and his land-grab scheme in this racier, unrated version of the film. Teens Luke (Randy Wayne) and Bo (Jonathan Bennett) are paroled to the care of Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson) in (Side B) The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning, the prequel movie that reveals how the fussin and fun started from the first run-in with Boss Hogg to the first Daisy Dukes short shorts. TLC Rides took a full episode to feature the building of the Extreme Lee for Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Redline Gauge Works and Picture Car Warehouse worked together to build this modern version of the classic 1969 Dodge Charger used on the Dukes of Hazzard. Dave's General Lee Replica was used for all of the "General Lee" shots throughout the episode.

The General Lee Pedal Car was made by Coleco in 1982 and to this day is one of the rarest and most popular Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia items you will ever find. It had a working dixie horn, motor noises. The drives door, hood, and trunk were operational.

Here are two great clips of behind the scenes fun from the Dukes of Hazzard Movie (2005). It appears that in the first video, that they are doing launch tests with a launch ratchet to get the General Lee in the air (using the ramp of course).
