5/23/2007 John Schneider to put his General Lee back up for auction
John Schneider is going to put his General Lee back up for auction. This time using a pre-qualification process that includes verification of the bidder's finances. The auction is set to begin on Ebay this Saturday (5/26/2007).

5/11/2007 $10 Million General Lee -- Looks Like A Hoax
Well it turns out that the eBay auction for John Schneider's General Lee was a hoax. Initial claims have been made that the eBay account that was used to place the high bid was high-jacked or hacked. Schneider has mentioned plans to re-list his General Lee with another auction house soon.

5/5/2007 John Schneider sells his General Lee for almost $10M
John Schneider put his General Lee that was used in the "Hazzard in Hollywood" CBS TV movie up for sale on Ebay. The bidding went wild and before you know it the auction ended at almost 10 million dollars. Note this car was not used in the original series of the Dukes of Hazzard yet many articles are claiming this to be true. It will be interesting to see if these bids are real!

Of the many locations the Dukes of Hazzard was filmed at, the Newhall California ranch was most likely the best of them all.
