BURBANK, CA (May 1, 2006) – Warner Home Video (WHV) and the Good Ol’ Boys welcome you back to Hazzard County for some crime fighting fun with the release of Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Sixth Season DVD on May 30, 2006! Get your cowboy boots ready for this action-packed sixth season as Bo (John Schneider), Luke (Tom Wopat) and Daisy (Catherine Bach) take on jewel thieves, escaped convicts and, of course, the devious Sheriff Boss Hogg. Order due date is April 25, 2006.

The Dukes of Hazzard debuted in 1979 and became a huge hit, never failing to be the top rated show in its time slot during its original run on CBS for seven seasons ending in 1985. The Dukes of Hazzard is set in Georgia and the show's southern influence is felt throughout. Country singing superstar Waylon Jennings performed the famous theme song for the show ("Good Ol' Boys"), and acts as 'The Balladeer,' by narrating the adventures of each episode. The series had an extremely successful run in syndication beginning in 1996 on TNN, the Nashville Network, leading to a resurgence in the Dukes’ popularity. The show continues to be one of the top rated shows on Country Music Television.

In Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Sixth Season, which originally aired in 1983, Sheriff Boss Hogg is out to finally get his revenge on the Duke clan. The Sheriff bribes Bo and Luke after they miss their probationary hearing and hypnotizes Daisy into thinking she is someone else. Nevertheless, time and again the Duke trio finds out about Boss’ schemes, and end up defeating him and his mischievous ways.
