The bidding went wild and before you know it the auction ended at almost 10 million dollars. It turns out that the eBay auction for John Schneider's General Lee was a hoax. Initial claims have been made that the eBay account that was used to place the high bid was high-jacked or hacked. Schneider has mentioned plans to re-list his General Lee with another auction house soon.
